Meet the Trainers
Ian Wright
Ian Wright is a well respected and sought after equestrian coach. He trained and rode for Olympic 3DE gold medalist Bertie Hill and went on to a successful career, Eventing, Show Jumping and as a pro NH race Jockey. Now based in North Devon he holds regular monthly clinics around the South West and Wales as well as working with RoR group. He keeps his training straight forward, empathic and easy to understand. He puts his focus as much on the horses education as the riders, improving the knowledge, skills and confidence for both. Ian is happy to work with partnerships in all aspects and at all stages of their training.
Karen Court
Karen Court is a BHSII/RDAGI who specialises in dressage. Karen has trained with Adam Kemp, Anna Ross and Crief Roeffs and has ridden at advanced level dressage. She regularly teaches for the Blackdown Hills Riding Club and holds regular clinics at the Paddocks Equestrian. She particularly enjoys training the less confident horse and rider.
